[CBC뉴스] 걸그룹 뉴진스가 청각장애인을 위한 기부 행렬에 동참했다.

29일 사단법인 사랑의달팽이(회장 김민자)는 주식회사 어도어(대표이사 민희진)가 소속 아티스트 뉴진스와 함께 청각장애인 지원으로 후원금을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

기부금은 청각장애인의 인공달팽이관 수술 및 언어재활치료비 지원으로 사용될 예정이다. 어도어와 뉴진스는 음반 판매 수익금으로 이번 기부금을 준비했으며, 매년 음반 판매 매출의 일정부분을 지속적으로 기부할 예정이라고 밝혔다.

어도어 측은 "소리를 선물하는 뜻 깊은 일에 동참하게 되어 기쁘다"며 "뉴진스의 음악이 더 많은 사람들에게 전해질 수 있도록 좋은 음악을 만들 것"이라고 전했다.

The donated money will be used to support artificial cochlear implant surgery and language rehabilitation costs for the hearing impaired. 어도어 and NewJeans prepared the donation with the proceeds from album sales, and plan to continue to donate a portion of their annual album sales revenue.
